Linda Goddard is a longtime resident of Frederick County, Maryland and it is in Woodsboro Maryland that she lives and maintains her studio.
Linda works primarily in oils and enjoys painting still life,landscapes and especially portraits.She always aims for a painting that is beautiful in and of itself and that reflects the glory of God that nature reveals to us. Her home is surrounded by beautiful rolling farmland and her garden is full of colorful flowers and plants that offer endless inspiration. Captivated by the subtle beauty of light as it falls upon objects,scenery and people, she strives to capture the quiet, peaceful and even inspiring moments of life".Life is so very busy today. I find myself drawn to the 'whisper moments' in a day. . I think this is what people see in my work-a beautiful little gem of a quiet moment captured on canvas!"
Linda also enjoys passing along her love of art to young people.She has taught art for local home school and public schooled students for 10 years in both co-ops and in her home studio.
